Marbles
Marbles are natural stones formed from the metamorphism of limestone or dolomite under high temperatures and pressures. The name "marble" originates from the ancient Greek word "marmaros," meaning "shiny stone." They are known for their beauty, durability, and timelessness. There is a wide variety of colors, ranging from white, black, and gray to pink, red, and green, with striking veins and patterns. They can be smooth and glossy or have a more matte and rough texture, depending on the finish. While they are durable, they are more fragile compared to granite and can break if exposed to strong impacts. They are ideal for stairs, floor tiles, wall cladding, decorative elements (such as columns and fireplaces), and other architectural applications.
